Actresses who refuses to kiss Imran Hashmi

 Emraan Hashmi can be termed as a synonym of the word, “serial-kisser” in Bollywood. There was a time when producers used this “kiss factor” to cash on it. However, it is a personal choice and many actresses refused for the same.

Kareena and Saif had jointly decided to stay away from kissing scenes after marriage. Emraan and Kareena were supposed to do a film, “Badtameez Dil”. Emraan believed his on-screen kisses were a lucky charm for his films.

He conveyed his desire for the same to producer Ekta Kapoor which was turned down. Kareena denied for a lip-lock which shocked Emraan. The film had a tough time for various reasons and the makers decided to work on the project with a changed starcast.

There was a kissing scene in Neha Sharma’s debut film Crook with Emraan Hashmi. Neha Sharma was firm beforehand that she wanted to be recognised for her talent rather than being associated with Emraan’s serial-kisser image.

Soha Ali Khan initially agreed for a kissing scene with Emraan Hashmi in, “Tum Mile” as the plot had a live-in relationship. Later, the director felt there was a requirement for one more. Soha was not ready to do it but after a discussion with the director and intervention from Emraan she was convinced that the script demanded it.

Personal choice acts as the main reason for refusal while demand of the script, instant limelight and glamour factor contribute for the acceptance.
